In January 2017 statistics compiled by BPI showed that Vinyl record sales in 2016 were up 53% on the previous year, hitting a 25 year high as consumers young and old embraced physical formats of music.
One of the players within this surge is Vinyl Tap, an online rare record shop for record collecting, specialising in buying/selling rare collectables of CDs, vinyl, promos, hard to find out of date rarities and music memorabilia. Online customers are invited to browse a huge database of vinyl titles on the website which was developed in Magento, one of the leading ecommerce CMS.
With over thirty years experience of the market, Tony Boothroyd, Vinyl Tap’s Managing Director, had commissioned the new website to promote and sell over 150,000 stock items to a rapidly growing audience and customer base. “Good quality hosting is important to us as we require a reliable and efficient website for customers to use and purchase from.
