Our hosting is powered by 100% renewable energy generated by wind and hydro assets, confirmed by an official SSE Green Electricity Certificate. This energy is backed by Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGOs).
At HA, we prioritise sustainability wherever we can, including our choice of servers. That’s why we’ve chosen PowerEdge servers, which are designed to be sustainable without sacrificing performance.
These servers are made with up to 35% recycled materials, as part of Dell’s repair, replace, or recycle program.
Additionally, they have sustainable features such as improved airflow, lower fan speed, reduced energy consumption, minimal glue, and limited use of paints and coatings.
When our servers reach the end of their lifespan, we ensure they are recycled properly.
Pulsant have made a promise to decrease their carbon emissions by 50% across all scope areas by 2030. To achieve this goal, Pulsant are taking measures to reduce the data centres’ power use and minimise overall emissions.
Additionally, they will always maintain the use of 100% renewable energy, and support low-carbon sustainable development projects to offset any direct negative impact.

It’s inevitable that we all produce an environmental footprint of some size. But at We Are HA, we’re doing our part to reduce our team’s individual carbon footprint.
We aim to use the most sustainable methods of transport, including walking, cycling or using public transport where possible.
To help offset the emissions we as a team produce, we’ve partnered with Ecologi. We go above and beyond the minimum requirements by funding more tree planting and environmental projects than we technically need to based on our team’s calculated annual footprint. As our team grows, we will continue our commitment to working at being a climate-positive business.
We reduce, reuse or recycle what we can in the office. Printed documents are as minimal as possible, using recycled paper and a black-ink-only printer. Recycling points are set up in the office to collect plastics, glass and cardboard.
